Home Theater

A home theater room, has the potential to be the most fun room of your home.

My parents were music lovers. So growing up, I had the good fortune to develop a love for fine music and an inclination to use good equipment.

Once I left home, I started with Panasonic “boom box” for my room in school. After school I purchased a Yamaha Stereo Receiver CD Player and my Cassette player (yeah!) and paired it with a set of JBL bookshelf speakers.

My first home theater was RT2500an RCA (RCA RT 2500). It served me well during my stay in an apartment. Movies were definitely much more fun to watch. But as with HTIB’s this system was quite limited in Bass output and overall power. One fine day it went pop…

Moving into a house this gave me the freedom to do much more. The following pages, go thru the reasons for some  of the choices I have made, in setting up my current home theater. I hope it is useful to you…

Happy reading.
