No flame in the dryer

No flame on the Gas Dryer.

Checked on “The Web”.  Possible causes were the Thermal Fuse or the Gas Valve’s.

Thermal Fuse

Since the Thermal Fuse required less dissembling, I thought I would start with that first.

Ordered the part on Amazon. Cost around $7. Took apart the back panel. Identified and replaced the thermal Fuse.

Replacing the thermal fuse was a relatively easy task.

Took the opportunity to clean the lint that had accumilated over the years in the tubing.

Tried the dryer again… as luck would have it, it didnt work.

So I now had to replace the Gas Valves!!!

Step 1: Using a putty knife, gently push in the 2 clips in the front of the dryer. This will help unlock the top of the dryer.
