Replacing the toner

New printer cartridges are such a ripoff!!! Considering how easy it is to refill them… why  buy.

Well it took me all of 10 min and $9 to do this and I saved $70 in the process… Here are the pix.

Toner, funnel, cloth, gloves and the instructions from the seller.

Remove the cartridge from the printer…hopefully you know how to do that 🙂
Place the cartridge on the given cloth

Remove the two screws, one where it says do not remove!

Remove the toner cap

Tap out the remaining old toner into a bag

Pour the new toner in.
It is a dry powder…
BTW: replace the fuse. It is in the front of the cartridge, I couldnt get a good pix. Maybe later…

Oh most importantly, buy yourself something nice with the $70 you saved!!!
